Code of Conduct

This community follows the Contributor Covenant, version 3.0. It applies to the forum, prompt sharing and comments, the tool repository, and every other official Coding OS space.

Our pledge

We pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone — regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our standards

Behavior that contributes to a positive environment includes:

• Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people
• Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
• Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
• Accepting responsibility, apologizing, and learning from mistakes
• Focusing on what is best for the overall community

Unacceptable behavior includes:

• Sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
• Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
• Public or private harassment
• Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission
• Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Reporting

Report violations via the in-forum flag on the content, or by email to [email protected] from any address. Reports are reviewed by the maintainer; expect an initial response within 72 hours. Reports are kept confidential.

Enforcement

The maintainer investigates every report and applies the Contributor Covenant enforcement ladder, matched to Discourse moderation actions:

1. Correction — a private note explaining the violation.
2. Warning — an official warning with stated consequences.
3. Temporary restriction — silencing or suspension for a stated period.
4. Permanent ban — removal from all community spaces.

Appeals go to the same address ([email protected]) and are re-reviewed in full.
