Refuse to fix until the bug is reproduced in the smallest possible harness.

Fill the placeholders
Do not propose a fix yet. First:
1. Reproduce the failure with the SMALLEST possible input/command.
2. Show the failing output verbatim.
3. State the single hypothesis the repro supports.
4. Name the one experiment that would falsify it.
Only then propose the fix — and re-run the repro after applying it.
